Chargers on their way out of San Diego

I just can't understand the need for all these teams to keep building all these new stadiums. What's wrong with their current stadium?

edit - Just dug up a litte info on the stadium
1967 - $27.75 million authorized to build new stadium with 53,000 seats
1984 - $9.1 million stadium expanded to 61,000 seats and 50 suites
1997 - $78 million for a major expansion bringing the total seating capacity to 71,500; two new video screens and a practice facility for the Chargers.

Yes the stadium is a little old, but they just dumped $80M into it a few yrs ago.

Alot of them are 20-30+ year old stadiums that can't compare to the newier ones which are soo much nicier then older ones.

San Diego is so much nicer a place than L.A.
I hope they can find a way to keep them there.
 
They just built them a new practice field. They'll find the money.
 
dear god, this is worse than the people who title articles for Yahoo. A mention that this might potentially happen and you already have them packing their bags.
 
Just remember that Taglibue really wants a team in LA. He will be gone before this scenario takes place but the commisioner's office really has a hard on for a team in LA. Two teams were there and they both left. screw em.

Looks like the Chargers need your help now. Maybe Ralph Wilson will talk to Congress for them?

You know they are going to LA because Tags wants a team there even though the fans don't come to games.
 
Since the nfl makes all this money why don't they build thier own damn stadium. It amazes me that these millionaires get welfare basically and free million dollar stadiums of which they make all the money. Sweet Deal for the owners.
 
I would not be pleased at all, the Chargers are my 2nd team to the Dolphins one of things me and my father cherish together if they move from San Diego I'm sure we'll both be heartbroken :(.
 
as long as they don't have those butt ugly powder blue uniforms, I don't mind.

Powder Blue Unis = Best Unis in the league! I have a Tomlinson & Gates Uni's, Powder Blue and I love'em!
