Chargers Sign Ronnie Brown

Ronnie Brown signs with the Chargers

The San Diego Chargers have added former Miami Dolphins starting running back Ronnie Brown to the roster, agreeing to terms on a one-year contract.

He ranks third on the Dolphins’ all-time list for rushing yards and touchdowns, and he’s tied with Hall of Fame running back Larry Csonka for the second-most 100-yard rushing games in team history.

"" San Diego Chargers work on Wildcat""
It's not a complete coincidence, but soon after signing running back Ronnie Brown, the San Diego Chargers are trying their hand at the Wildcat offense.

Chargers coach Norv Turner told U-T San Diego on Wednesday that he has toyed with the idea of using the Wildcat for roughly two months. On this front, Brown represents a good fit, at least historically.

Good luck to him. Solid guy. Too bad he has zero shot at a title so long as Norv Turner is there.

Always wish Ronnie the best. Everyone thought I didn't like him, but I always through well of him as a
person, and all around football player.

Good luck to him. Was a never a big Ronnie Brown fan but he always seemed like a good guy.
