If we pass on Antoine Cason or he is gone by the 32nd pick, I think this is the CB we should go after. He is a fantastic tackler and has a great nose for the ball. Check him out:

Great post Roman. This is the guy I see us grabbing with our 2b or 3rd round pick. Guy is great at run support and will be a great fit in the physical secondary Parcells likes to run. I personally want Tracy Porter because of his elite coverage skills but he doesnt really fit the Parcells mode. Plus he would be a 2a pick.
 
I wouldn't hate the pick at all. He is very susceptible to the big play because of how physical, aggressive, and relying on his talent a little to much (if you catch my drift if you are an athlete) gets him. However the Parcells mold which would have been passed down to our coach fits physical run stopping corners and that he is.

we might go JL round 1, a guy like groves or avril or something round 2a, then godfrey at 2b. thats a nice SOLID draft.
 
Being a Hawks fan, I can tell you would be a steal at even 2b.
 
idk i like justin king if there from penn state, mabey the kid from uconn in the third or later. he is a solid pick but i also wouldnt mind a ILB or a OG at that spot. but all in all he would be a nice pick up, but i doubt the best at that spot

Ditto, I have always thought this kid is amazing, but I always just figured that was the homer in me. I know he has been hands down the best secondary player Iowa has seen since Bobby Sanders, but I don't know much as far as comparing him to Cason or anyone else even remotely close to his draft pos. Every weeek the hawks left him out on an island and every week he came through. C'mon Phins you need a little bit of Godfrey in your system.
 
Agreed. I'm also hoping for Cason at 32, but if we don't get him then Godfrey at 2b or round 3 would be ok too.
