Charles Harris Official Rookie Highlights

About half those plays he was unblocked, but he had a couple of really good ones, the one crumpdaddy mentions and a very good rush

IMO, the one against Baltimore where he came all the way across the field to make a play speaks volumes of the kid. Sacks will come. The effort is definitely there.

I was going to say the same. When a player puts in that type of effort on plays, it sets them up to be a playmaker when they put it all together. He's got the motor.

And he has that low to the ground lean ability when turns the corner that can't really be taught (see: cam wake).

Jason Taylor then Cam Wake. We really have gotten spoiled at the DE position. I see the potential. If this kid can produce at least 8 sacks this season we could have a force on our hands.

Effort is there - I just don’t know if the speed is - I see him “almost” getting to the QB in his future. Hoping he can get to the next level. We need him.

Hope he pulls through. I see potential. Thats about it

if the kid can get a better bend in his hips around the edge, his pressures turn into sacks. the kid is giving way to much flack on this forum. now if things dont change in the next two years, then you can complain, as of right now the kid is green and has some great teachers.

perfect example is the play at the 54 sec mark. he beats the tackle but his hips are too high and he doesnt bend around the tackle like wake (or other good de's). that little bit of stiffness goes a long way. he fixes that and the sky is the limit

it his his bend around the edge. i dont think its speed. slower players make a lot of sacks. he just needs to work his technique, and find a second move.
