Before he ran one sprint, did one jump or did one rep on the bench press, Charles Omenihu was considered a winner among the defensive linemen at the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine. Checking at just under 6-feet-6-inches (6-5 3/8 officially) and 280 pounds with 36-inch arms and an 85 1/2-inch wingspan, Omenihu was someone CBS Sports NFL draft analyst Chris Trapasso singled out for being, “impossibly, unfathomably long.”
Omenihu proved he was more than length and productivity on tape as the reigning Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year had what will likely be considered a top-to-bottom solid Combine performance in Indianapolis.
