With the signing of another WR in Detroit (forgot who it was already), Charles Rogers is as good as gone from Detroit. Do you think Saban takes a chance on him?

He knows his talent since he played at Mich St. He has laods of talent but I am just not up to date on his injury status from last year...and the year before.

isnt Charles Rogers a 2nd or 3rd year player??

rogers is a headcase, not to mention injury prone. and he doesn't seem to care about football.

just keep in mind that he is in the league drug program and has already been suspended for 4 games......meaning his next violation would warrant a 1 year suspension.

He's a big risk.....he can't stay healthy either.

In my opinion TO is the only possible upgrade....if not him then you gotta stick with CC and Booker.

TO is going to be a Miami Dolphin if Nick just simply calls him.

I would take him in a heartbeat for a low contract with incentives. His problem has been motivation and staying out of trouble. Motivation will never be a problem for a Saban coached team.
You cant teach raw talent and Rogers has that. The two injurys he had were both broken collarbones and apparently it wasn't repaired correctly the first time leaving him vulnerable to the second break. It is supposedly fully healed and there is no greater repeat injury risk because of it, or so people have said.

Just a thought, but didn't Saban recruit Charles Rogers at Michigan State?? Maybe it wouldn't be a bad fit

Yup, its one of the reasons I think he could turn it around here. Him and Saban have a history and I dont think he got himself in trouble when Saban was his coach.
