Charles Rogers headed to Miami?

no but i hope i hope i hope this is true. daunte needs weapons

Strictly speculation IMHO, the Fins haven't even given Rogers a workout. Not that I'm against it totally, but he sure seems to have a drinking and attitude problem.

Please put an "IS" in the front of your thread so people don't think it's fact. At least until it is confirmed.

Could you imagine what it would be like being Rogers searching the stadiums lights for the ball... through his facemask with streaking on a 40 yard bomb? and drinkin a 40?

This Rogers fella reminds of "Cecil the Diesel" .. Remember him during the Jimmy Johnson days ? LOL

yeah then all you'd see is him on the ground passed out with the football next to him...press conference would go as followed: "Ya know I was just tryin to do my thang and like BAM! i was out and then i dunno what happend!"

Isn't the question mark enough?

And by that quote, it could mean he's headed here for a workout right, not headed to join the team.

I think if Rogers is still out there it's because no one wants him, my guess would be if Rogers signs with Miami he will have to pay Miami league minimum to land on our roster. Loaded with clauses...lack of skills at anytime,gametime/ practice/weightroom/buying a cheesburger, would result in his instant release!! In other words....No!!!! Rogers won't be a Dolphin! IMO.

It wouldn't hurt to bring Rogers in. We wouldn't be giving up anything to get him. If he screws up once then cut him. Maybe a change of scenery is all he needs. After all, he was one hell of a talent coming out of Michigan State. He'd be worth the risk.

They did change 2.5M of JT's salary into bonus so they should have some money. Bringing him in for a workout does not hurt - why not? If someone gets hurt you already have data on him. Unless we finally trade a DT I don't see them carrying 6 Wr's although I would like to see 6 so we can start spreading the field out going 3 or 4 wide on some plays.
