Last year's draft has a tremendous amount of potential. Pouncey is already on his way to becoming a stud center. Thomas struggled with injuries last year, but certainly has the potential to become a full time starter.
Gates has a lot of hype, but as you mentioned hasn't proven anything. His biggest knock after being drafted was that he was a raw route runner and the lockout also hurt his development. Now that he has some experience in the NFL and a full offseason, a lot should be expected of him. He needs to contribute this season.
Clay and Wilson contributed last year and Clay probably will have a much bigger role this sesason.
On paper, with only six total picks the 2010 draft looks to be one of the best overall in awhile.
