I've noticed that he has been coming in more often lately. Did anyone see him against San Diego? I think this player has A LOT of upside.

I have to disagree. I really don't see anything special in Anderson at all. I question how he even made the team. Moses, Wake, and Walden all have more upside than Charlie.

Either way, he'll be playing a lot more since Porter's hamstring is really acting up. (Unless Anderson stays at ILB?)

What has Wake done? Charlie has at least made plays in the past. Sacks and that blocked punt against the Jets last year. That was a huge play. The guy barely gets a chance to come in the game, but when he does he plays with a lot of heart.

I go with the next post that was made with Wake, Moses and Walden at OLB over Anderson. That all being said though just to shake things up in the middle I think Anderson could possibly add some spark at ILB. He is big enough and if he can cover he might offer some upside there.

Wake has done nothing as of yet, but you could see the potential he has as pass rusher in preseason. He just needs to develop a couple of moves, and he could be really good. Charlie has made SOME plays. Not a lot, but SOME. the thing that irks me about Anderson more than anything is that he's made more mistakes here than he has big plays. Add to the fact that the team overpaid for him in FA back when they got him makes me scratch my head even more.

Anderson may play with a lot of heart, but heart only gets you so far. Jay Fiedler had heart, but that heart could never make up for the shortcomings he had in terms of talent. Same thing applies with Charlie.

You referring to those two holding penalties called on him during Ginn's kickoff returns for TD's that he got robbed off? Those were BS calls.

C'mon dog, Charlies has made so many plays since he got here. And if you want to refer to the pre-season, He made alot of plays than to.

I'm sorry, but I just don't see it with Anderson. He is pretty much here until Wake, Moses, or Walden comes on, or they draft somebody better. I know I'm not the only one that feels this way either. Anderson is average at best, and I've seen enough of average for most of this decade.

Go back and watch the last game. Wake and Anderson were both splitting time when Porter went out. Watch who gets closer to the QB...watch who gets more push...watch which one just seems to "dance" with the tackle....

The one that looks to have an upside isn't Anderson....

If you mean by an "upside" with Anderson that he can get more holding penalties on special teams....you could be right...otherwise I see nothing in Anderson...

The fact he is even on this team is a disappointment...

I was going to say keep him off ST. He is a good pass rusher. We need as much pressure on that crappy QB as possible to make TO and Evans useless.

Anderson is listed as the backup to Porter, if I'm not mistaken. Expect him to start this sunday. He's shown some promise. But as the coaching staff comment repeatedly, it's all about consistency. Let's see if he can turn it on for 60 minutes.

So because he had one or two BS holding calls that had nothing to do with the returns at all, he isn't good? Right.
