Not sure I entirely agree with his assessment of Moore. He said he excels with short passes, but its the deep passes that he usually excels at IMO. In any case he ranks him below both McGloin and Savage.

Casserly is not a good evaluator of talent, and that's why he's working on TV and not for an NFL team.

I've never liked him. I don't even think he watches film since being dismissed from his GM role. NFL Network was kind enough to allow him to time the 40 at the combine while guys like Michael Irvin and Warren Sapp give you analysis of the players.

But did he just say Adam Gase specializes in short routes and timing and that is what Matt Moore is good at?

Like I said, he doesn't watch us play so not concerned with him to be honest.

Would have to take a complete dunce to rate Savage's 12 point win At HOME against a 5-9 team that missed a last second 43 yard FG . . . higher than Matt Moore's 34 point win on THE ROAD against a division opponent who was 7-7 and still in the playoff picture . . . . but Casserly found a way to make that happen.

yeah. If i'm going to say matt moore sucks (which I won't) I wouldn't chose this guy to back up my claim.

As a backup, neither one is as accomplished as Matt Moore. It's not even close.

Maybe as prospects, they have a few physical traits that Moore does not. . . but Matt Moore is the definition of a quality backup QB with a very proven track record and honestly his career stats and career W-L record speak for themselves.

How can you make a case he's below McGloin? McGloin has thrown 11 TD and 11 INTs in his career. There is no case.
