Charlie Weiss-Future Fin HC ?

the fish should hire him. i think he is a up and coming coach.. plus if we hire him it will hurt the pats..
 
This man has serious health issues. He is known for not taking the heat when the media goes after him well at all. There is a reason why teams keep passing on him and go sign other guys.

He isn't head coaching material. The LAST thing we need is another great assistant coach who isn't cut out as a head coach. We have that now.

If we are going to GO in a different direction........lets do it. Not just keep going in the same cycle over and over and over.
 
kill 2 birds with 1 stone! New head coach for us and take im away from the Patsies....

Haven't you noticed the success this guy has had over the last few years?? And over the best defenses?? Who in the world do you have in mind that'll be better than him?:confused:

He interviews for a ton of jobs every year, and every year every team that interviews him, pass on him. So, EVERY Team is wrong? I don't think so.

How can some of you procalim NE as "lucky" then say, we gotta get their assistant coach he is great. Well, are the Pats lucky, or are they good and well coached?

Better than Charlie Weiss..............Saben, Crenell, Gary Kubiak, etc

Some guys aren't head coaches. I mean christ sakes, he has won 2 Super Bowls and everyone agrees the guy has a thin skin and can't take it when the media critcizes him. What the hell he is going to do if he is the head coach of a team that isn't winning Super Bowls?
 
Weis gets screwed by the Pats success

I think Weis not being hired as a head coach yet is more the product of the NFL's rules that a coach can not talk with other team until the season is officially over. Their Defensive Coordinator is the same way, Romeo Crennel. Teams want these guys, but they usually have to make a decision before the guys are available to truly interview. I like Wanny and he is a good guy, but I think this team needs someone like Weis. His offenses are pretty dynamic and he is very unpredictable in his play calling. He would have tried to open up this offense already. At least tried it.

HUH? :rolleyes:

He was just over weight man.... That's why teams were passing on him.

He had surgery to have his stomach stapled... He did have complications during the surgery though, but he is fine now.

We stupid not to bring him in for an interview...

Who is "everyone". I live in New England and have never heard this said about Charlie Weis by "anyone", let alone "everyone"?

How would "everyone" even know? The last two head coaches Weis has worked for, Pacells in NY and Belichick here, don't allow the media access to the co-ordinators on a routine basis.

Could you give me one example of "everyone"?
 
I don't care if Charlie Brown comes in as HC.

Weis would be perfect IMO.
Hopefully Wayne is sending signals his way that he is his guy.
