I just got through watching my noles get the crapp kicked out of them, anyway this was my 1st time this year getting to watch whitehurst and he looked pretty good what do you think about picking him up in the 3rd round or later and letting him groom under kitna or someone else? has he been good all year? or was he playing a bad secondary?

You have got to be kidding, .................right? I watched the same game and must say HE11 NO!!!! Not even close

He's way too inconsistant.... and he's in college... I liked him a few years back, but he went down hill for somereason.

Does anyone know if they switched their offensive scheme?

I saw Whitehurst play against Miami and he played a hell of a game. He might be a decent to good QB in the NFL you never know.

He is a son of a former NFL player and has broken almost every record Clemson had. He will be a good qb for a long time for a NFL team IMO. Wait till the combine and watch him embarrass alot of these peoples want to be picks. He will go 1st rd. or early to late second more than likely.

I've watched Charlie for 4 years now...just about every game. He had a great freshman and sophmore year....stats comparable to Phiip Rivers' first two years. Last year he suffered under an offensive coordinator that had grown stale and an under performing group of receivers and NO running game until late in the season. He has a strong arm and is very accurate when he has time to throw. This season Clemson has a new offensive coordinator and it has made a big difference. I've read recently that a collection of scouts polled, had him ranked third for seniiors behind Lineart and McNeel. I think second or third round would be about right.

Go Tigers..........Go Phins

Whitehurst has all the tools and the bloodline. His man problem has been he will have a great game, then a bomb.

But I like him a ton!
