"It's playoffs. Definitely," Felton said during a news conference to promote the Bobcats' Oct. 17 exhibition with the Washington Wizards at North Carolina, where he played in college. "We have that type of talent. And I have that much confidence in my team."
"I think so," Felton said. "I know so."

Poor Felton....its going to take him a while to get used to losing.
I get to watch a lot of Bobcats bball here and they are a fun group to see play the game. But they aren't making the playoffs. Its not hard to find 8 teams in the east that are clearly better than they are. If everything goes right they can hover on the fringe of respectability.
Its not really a bad thing to be a lottery team again. They can't contend this year, could certainly use that lottery pick, and are just biding their time until next year when they can make a play for one of the big FAs. Darko, Vince, Howard, Diaw.... It will be a pleasure to watch them though. Felton is quickly becoming a star, Wallace already is one, and all those who sat out last year "injured" can come back and display their new found skills. Watch for Sean May draining threes :D
why cant they compete for a 7 or 8 spot...from what im hearing feltons game has only been improving...I believe our depth is actually pretty good now and we have a decent starting lineup
Brevin Knight
Adam Morrison
Gerald Wallace
Emeka Okafor
Primoz Brezec
off the bench
Raymond Felton [He may take the starting role before the season starts though]
Sean May [Will get alot of minutes filling in for okafor and they'll try and utilize a lineup that has both may and okafor on the court the same time]
Ryan Hollins [Rookie from UCLA had a dunk in camp that knocked down the backboard]
Alan Anderson [2nd year player from MSU that showed he can score]
