The key is not that he's fleet of foot but that he sells the fake as well as anyone I've ever seen. IMO, it's the thing he does best. By contrast, Marino might have been the worst at selling the fake. I remember it used to drive me nuts and I would wonder why they even bothered.

Danny, my thumbs up was for ur sig pic. Good gracious!!!!!

Yeah Sherman "busted it out" successfully there but never thought to try it under the Big Top to keep the defenders honest. Go figure :idk:

I don't know what took them so long to get him running more but he is a huge weapon in the run game now.

Sherman wanted him to develop passing from the pocket skills. That was his down fall. Lazor should have done this sooner I agree. Maybe we beat buffalo if they had to worry about him running

RT running makes the entire defense have to think. The line can't just pin back and go for the pocket, the LB can't just stick on their coverage and one will have to spy RT, the DBs can't just lock onto their WR with no regard to open run zones underneath. It puts a lot more pressure on the D, controls the ball and the clock, and creates open space for rec to catch and run.

that's not really a list i want my qb leading...means too much opportunity for contact way i see it...it's nice and all but man dont get my qb hurt

RT does an excellent job of getting down in traffic. I would usually feel like I don't want him running either but, he does a great job of protecting himself when running. I also don't think this offense works without RT running the football. It's a lot for defenses to have to account for and gives time on playfakes.
