I look to see this guy come out of freakin no-where this week. Linehan will use the Jets offense against them. They totally will get blind sided, because he will work to make their defensive unit feel like they know this offense because they use it themselves, but Linehan will blindside them with wrinkles exclusive to his system. Enter Chatman - the perfect change up back that NO-ONE sees coming down the pike. Expect the Dolphins to win big. I kept saying it over and over again this off-season, Dolphin fans on this site have been and are SO hungover from Dumbstadt. The Jets are gonna get their heads handed to them or they will play the game of their lives just to keep their heads above water. The Dolphins are gonna role into the Meadowlands BIG TIME. Their gonna play lights out all over the place and Dolphin fans and the media are gonna get over themselves and wake up and realize this LOSER DONKEY Dumbstadt ain't coachin this team no more. Now we got a genious who is getting after it. Now you got EVERYBODY gettin after it Crowder, Thomas, Taylor, Seau, Traylor, Madison, Carter, Holiday, even our safeties and Howard got after it - c'mon baby Saban has a defense. Gad I love this. A brand new

Chatman looked to be as effective as LT the times I saw him. He looks bigger now than last year, but it could just be that I got a closer look at him. This guy could be a steal for us. I hated losing Gordon for nothing, but I am sure SD feels the same about Chatman. This guy can play lights out at times. I hope he fet's in on the action this week.

I say bruise them early w/ Ronnie and Minor, add in Morris and Chatman mid-way through the game say 3rd qtr. early 4th. Enter a fresh Ronnie to bulldoze these guys. That is pretty much what happend last week minus Chatman.

I also would love to see D Bo go deep alot early and rest him and do it again in the 4th. D Bo trains his body for explosion and quick recovery. He has said he would love to run 50+ yd flies to wear out the db's early and often. Then when they are spent in the 4th from running all day, and he guarantee's that he will be 100% to run as fast as he did in the 1st qtr, he will be uncatchable. We have the guys to do this. CC, MB, WW, and D Bo. Let's wear these guys out, then clobber them. I would love to see us roll up 30+ points on these guys.

With this coaching staff using everybody, you don't know what's gonna hit you.You may be gameplanning wrong all week for us and don't find out til games end.So different from the previous staff.

What did you mean by this? Are the offensive systems run by Hermidinger and Linehan related? Did they originate from the same coaching tree?

This confused the hell out of me too.

I keep seeing these threads about Chatman and I don't understand why so many are excited about this guy.
Now I see someone comparing him to LT. Thats a pretty big comparison. Can anyone elighten me on why so many are high on this backup that was cut?

Well, all I know about him is he averaged like 6 yards per carry last year for the Chargers on 65 carries, he had 5 runs of over 20+ yards and they list him at 5'8" 245 on NFL.com.....maybe some others can add to that.

I checked up on some Charger boards when we signed him, and apparently he showed up this year totally out of shape, to the point where Chatman himself publicly apologised. Hopefully he is getting back in shape now and has learnt if you get out of shape you can get cut, even if you do average over 6 yards a carry.
