“Cheat motion” is now officially cheating

The cheat motion is all Tua’s fault. He is to blame for Miami cheating with motion.

Who decided to tighten the rule and why?
Coaches complain about it? No
Players?
Did it come up in an owners meeting? No
Any team ask for a rule change? No

So other than to penalise one or two teams while allowing the the tush push to continue to the benefit of some favoured teams why do it?
Oh that’s right it adversely affects the Dolphins, we have been Rogered again.

Yeah seems that way. That being said I think coach will have some workarounds for them to address again the following year.

This is right. As one door closes another will open and innovative coaches will find a new way to push the boundaries.

There will be a new wrinkle or two in our offense this year

RG - I am the rules guy
CR - Ah morning how can we screw the Dolphins this year?
RG - We can't they are playing by the rules
CR - Change the rules then
RG - Which one Messiah?
CR - That motion one should slow them down
RG - Okay but absolutely no one has complained about it, officials, players, teams, coaches, owners, no one. What about the tush push, had quite a few complaints about that?
CR - Do the Dolphins do it?
RG - No
CR - Leave it then, just screw the Dolphins.

They can change the rules all they want, they still can't cover Cheetah, Waddle, Mostert, and Achane.

For me I line up two back up linemen about 5 yards left and right if the line of scrimmage where the push will happen. On the snap they race in full speed and dive head first at the first set of legs (opponents preferably) they see holding up the pile. Chopping down trees is how I imagine it.
