I think Marv has earned the right to one great monumental **** up. Hell, without Marv, there wouldn't be half as many Buffalo fans as there are now. They certainly wouldn't be the nation-wide sensation that they are.

You have to trust Marv. Just this once. There's a good chance he knows as much football as even us. He's proven it time and again.

Let me tell you a little tale of Dick Jauron.

When he came to the Lions and their little fledgling band of 7th round defensive draft picks, the Lions were one of the worst defenses in the league. Against the pass, against the run. He single-handedly brought them up to a perenial top 20 defense, with little help from his GM. Suddenly, the Lions defense was a unit the Pheonix Cardinals couldn't take lightly. They put the fear in Josh McCown. Shawn Rogers is a pro-bowl player on account of Dick Jauron and his masterful schemes. Dre Bly plays like he's a 5'10" giant.

Without Jauron, the Lions don't win 8 games the last two seasons. No way.

The Bills......nation-wide sensation????? LOL....this is too much. Well it looks like this is a good move for the Bills, Jauron has the Cardinals number.

Hey atleast we arent stacked like KC has been the last few years and blow it every year. KCs be bad offense scored a total of 3 points here last year. Impressive. Hell Losman was the QB that game too.

Touche..touche. But we didn't have Roaf for that game. Our line was giving no protection and Green had one of his worst games for KC. But our offense has not been the problem, we are not "stacked" in any sense of the word on defense. But I am not making excuses for my team, we are perpetual underachievers.

Maybe next time you could quote someone who isn't a Lions fan.

Maybe next time you should check who I quoted before making assumptions. I didn't quote the person who started that thread, the person I did quote has 4,496 posts and does not appear to be a visiting Lions fan.

Touche. I agree there, no Roaf had to hurt. I hear ya on the underachievers too.
