Check out Eddie Moores SI draft Card

Wannstedt was afraid some other team would sign him as a free agent first, so he went ahead and drafted him in the 2nd.
 
that is absolutely pathetic. the guy isn't even on their board and we draft him in the 2nd round. the saddest part about that is you know in the dolphins draft room spielstedt and wannyman were laughing to themselves "these teams thought they were gonna steal our guy in the 6th round. we showed them! muwahahahahha"

He wasn't drafted in 2005. Why are people still harping on this? Everyone is gone that made that decision. Why even bring this up now? What does it do?
 
Err and Tampa Bay was believed to have wanted Eddie Moore. Think there was one other team also. He was a draft day riser that just didn't work out.

I started off by saying I dont call the guy a bust and I dont crap on our players. Try and find one thread where I talk about how much so and so is a bust. You can't.

I just found this when looking for Eddie Moores combine numbers and thought I would share.

While we're at it lets not talk about Shula, Marino, Czonka, the 72 dolphins, the no name defense, the killer bs, the Marks brothers. Let's just not talk about anything about the past. After all it is 2005.

Maybe he wanted to know why Moore was drafted so high if he was expected to be a UFA (something Ive wondered). Did his stock rise because of one of his workouts, or what? Moore is still a Dolphin so I dont see what the harm of this post is. Lighten up.

I find it hard for him to not know this. It has been wrote about over and over and over again on the board. Plus the fact that it doesn't matter anymore.
 
well i know in a lot of mocks that year he was being picked as a 3rd rounder, i dont know why SI had him as undrafted but it doesn't matter...

wanny reached for him and it happens, NE reached for logan mankins, denver reached for clarett... the jags supposedly reached for matt jones, washington traded up to supposedly reach for jason campbell... it happens

Actually, if I remember correctly, Wanny and Spielman were arguing. Wanny wanted Moore, and Spielman wanted Anquan Boldin. At least, that's what I've heard.
