I'm not so sure Ghost even missed that kick. I'd like to see a reply. Looked similar to that field goal that won it for the ravens last year vs the pats. Gronk injuries really ****** sucks.

Is he serious? The field of view is behind the goal posts, if he had hooked it inside we'd have seen the ball pass behind the goal post. Oh, and I'm taking credit for the shank, I was praying for it. Literally praying.

I really wasn't paying much attention to the refs, my heart was in my throat most of the time. Was it as bad as they are claiming? I personally don't think so, at least not in that game. To be honest reading a chunk of that thread it seems to me those fans are seeing the end of the ride with Brady and Belichick and are in panic mode. I mean there were some of those guys talking about giving up on the season. That is the kinda of talk I expect around here.

No, the two PI no-calls they're crying about were borderline. OTOH, they got away with a lot of ****. The refs, I think, made a conscious decision not to be involved in this game unless it was a blatant foul.

That makes sense to me. You gotta love the karma though. All these years the Pats have gotten help from the the refs *coughtuckrulecough* and now it is biting them in the ass. Even if they are jumping at ghosts.

You mean the Pats team that didn't have one penalty called against them until 12 sec left in the 3rd qtr.?

Honestly, I'm still amazed they didn't throw a "bail out the Patriots" flag in the last set of downs right before the game ended.

The refs let both teams play. Was there stuff that other crews would have called? Yes, but on both sides.

Not for nothing, because I'm a Dolphins fan since the day's of Mercury Morris. I live
4 miles from Foxboro so I see all of their games, many in person. We squeaked out a win today
at home against a team that was missing Vollmer, Gronkowski and their 2 best rookie
wideouts. On D they were missing, Wilfork, Mayo, Kelly. They will all be back next year. Meanwhile their
backups have had meaningful playing experience while most likely winning the division
AGAIN. Let's make the playoffs first before we start declaring that the torch has been passed.
I'm thrilled with the win, but if you guys think the AFCE is ours going forward, way premature.

Not for nothing, but aside from everyone we've been missing, the unbelievable distraction/media skewering, and the duct-taped OL "protecting" Tannehill, I don't buy the "they're missing Gronk" argument cuz as they enabled Hernandez per the Rolling Stone article and should have seen something bad coming, if they didn't realize, going back to college that Gronk was made of paper mache and again didn't have a back-up plan (aside from letting Welker walk), their losing because he wasn't available, speaks much more to their ineptitude than the Fins "luck." If you don't think Gibson going down and Patterson's chronic injuries aren't huge, I respectfully think you're being short-sighted.

The calls against us in the first pats game were far more egregious than any call or non call yesterday. Not even close.
