We won't take a WR with the first round pick, I'm willing to put money on that. Eric Winston is amazing and might be worth the value depending on what spot we're picking at. More realistically, I see us going QB or DB in the first round.

Top shelf QB doesn't do a lot of good if you can't protect him. Just look at how it's harmed the development of David Carr.

Winston was an amazing LT before he got hurt. Art Kehoe said he was the most gifted lineman he's ever had at UM. And he's coached that OL 20 years. If he can get all the way back to where he was and keep on improving, he's an outstanding choice.

Also, I can't see Tennessee....with Norm Chow as OC....passing on Matt Leinert, as that mock predicts.
