Cheetah Career High Unlocked

r/NFL children told me he’d average 10 yards per catch of fewer with Tua throwing. I was told he’s now a “bubble screen” specialist and check down merchant. How’s that kiddos? Career high in receiving yards with that limp armed singing and dancing MF throwing it his way.

I suggests we turn the silly take around and suggest Mahomes must have sucked since he couldn’t get this kind of production out of Hill - go on offense here 😂

Lol true true.

It's amazing how the standard that only certain QBS are good because they have elite or good WRS, but others it didn't matter..

Mahomes- Hill/Kelce
Allen-Diggs
Herbert- Allen/Williams Ekeler
Hurts- Smith/Brown (not elite yet)
Burrow- Chase/Boyd/Higgins and Mixin

Only Tua benefitted from good WRS.

We know who Allen was pre Diggs. Yet no narrative his WR made him better.

Before Hurts has Brown, many questioned his legitimacy. Now he is a good bet for the MVP. But very few if any are claiming his WRS made him.

Burrow has been lucky since day1. We have never seen how he would play without a great offense.

Herbert came into arguably the best situation for 2 years. This year we saw even the mighty Herbert looked very much like Tua his rookie season once you took away his WRS. Yet nobody claims his WRS made him good.

Each of those QBS had or has as good or close to a situation Tua has.

Yet, not one QB was putting up the type of OVERALL stats Tua was for 8 weeks. Hurts was the closest.
Tua is very clearly getting more out of Hill than Mahomes did
Even still with 2 bad games.
It's not just TDS and yards. It's many situational stats. Tua is consistently #1 r top 5 in almost everything.
If you average out his numbers, add the games he missed he is right there among the leaders in yards and TDS.

So, for me, it's not that Tua is better then Mahomes, Allen etc...
But it's clear he is on their level and the whole he's only good because of his WRS is nonsense.
