Chiefs CAN't catch a flight

NFL network is reporting that the Chiefs can't catch a flight tonight and will need to get to the game tomorrow at 9 am...this is unprecedented.....

This is a break for us, we need to take advantage....the Chiefs are gonna have to fly the same day as playing.....this is a break....no use whining and we should silently be happy.

Color me ignorant, but I didn't think NFL teams had to catch flights. I always thought they had team planes and so on....
It's not that I came to that conclusion via any kind of research, I just kind of assumed. We all know what assuming does.

But hey, if they have to run around and get all stressed before the kickoff with our 'phins, I guess we should take whatever advantage we can to get a W.

NO, this is even more reason to call this whole thing B.S. I mean come the hell on......Not only do you make it impossible for everyone to watch the game, but you put one of the teams in a situation where they gotta get somewhere really quick, but they can't. Man........ The NFL is starting to go down hill. With all the fairy a** penalty's they call now days, barely allowing a normal tackle anymore, and god forbid you get creative after a TD, and now this........

LOL....you right, but with the problems that this regime has been having even having one series of offense without a penalty, we need all of the breaks we can get.

I think this tips the game more in our favor.....with the poor way we have been playing, anything to help us get the W will be appreciated.

Best case scenario:

We win Friday
Wilma stalls out in the Yucatan, and doesn't do $hit to S. Florida and we earn a few extra days of rest.

This could very well happen. The recent broadcast I am seeing are saying that Wilma is going to weaken considerably and become a Cat 1/2 storm by the time it comes ashore Sunday night/Monday.

This is starting to lean in our favor. I'm sure the playes in KC are pretty angry right about now. This isn't working out very good for them, and hopefully it will carry over into tomorrow night....

I thought the same thing, but Eisen stated that the Chiefs could NOT charter the flight this soon....makes you kind of wonder though.

This would really SUCK if the roles were reversed.

LOL...yeah whatever buddy....did you watch this team against the BUCS.....? they were f-ing dreadful. If this helps us "eek" out a win, while we try and correct the penalties, turnovers and bone headed mistakes....I will take it.

Being the better team isn't always the answer....ask the 2001 Patise fans.....they took it, and so should we.

And the Cheifs get a break because it is doubtful that JT will be playing Friday (vs. Sunday)...so it's about even...

That's wild. I figured with all the money and resources the NFL has at it's disposal catching a flight would be pretty easy for them to accomplish. Man I'm getting tired of being wrong all the time :tongue:
