If the Kansas City Chiefs could play all their games in December, and at home, they might never lose.



Larry Johnson went over 100 yards rushing for the eighth game in a row and the Chiefs won their 18th straight December home game with a 20-7 victory over San Diego on Saturday, eliminating the defending AFC West champion Chargers from playoff contention and clinching the division title for Denver.



Playoff hopes remain alive for Kansas City (9-6), which seized a 20-7 halftime lead and made it stand. San Diego (9-6) was flagged for seven penalties for 58 yards and had two turnovers. The Chargers hardly resembled the tough-minded outfit that went into Indianapolis last week and ruined the Colts' unbeaten season.

I really thought SD would go in their and get a win
 
so funny how the chargers have been so inconsistant but yet every NFL expert thinks their in the top 10 in football

so what ten teams are better? They may not be the best team out there but top third isnt unreasonable.

i dunno about that, there are 8 teams better then them in the AFC IMO. id rather my team be consistantly good, then be great here and bad there.

great teams find ways to win.
 
chargers are as overrated as tomlinson. NO WAY were they going to win in kansas city this time of the year. NOT A CHANCE

Chargers are overrated. Tomlinson is not.
 
Chargers did have a hell of a schedule. No excuses, they arent a playoff team but they sure as heck didnt have a pattycake division or schedule to pad some games. Theres a few playoff teams that wouldnt have made it with their schedule either. Marty is cursed, his teams just never seem to win the biggest games or when it really matters.
