Chiefs facing tampering charges?

No, there is no report(yet) of the Chiefs being in trouble with tampering, but after reading this, they have to be.

From rotoworld:

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that Cardinals OC Todd Haley was in touch with Chiefs GM Scott Pioli in the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl.

Mort says "all signs point" to Haley becoming Kansas City's next head coach. There is not even another known contender for the Chiefs' top job.

I thought is was against the rules to be in contact with a coach in the weeks before the Super Bowl. If that is indeed the rule, then the Chiefs should face tampering charges.

It is tampering only if arizona front office did not give permission...... are you sure they did not ?

rooney rule stats when interviewing you need to get some black coaches so even if they get 2 black coaches to interview before hiring its not against the rule.
