Per Rotoworld the KC Chiefs are trying to trade Tony Gonzalez. Possibly the greatest TE of all time. He will prob go to the Giants though. They say he will prob only net the Chiefs a 3rd round pick at best. What a target for Pennington he would be. Tony would be a great addition to this team. he can catch and block with the best of them. Just an idea.

how old is tony now? maybe 3 years ago but now? he cna't have much left in the tank

Why waste a draft pick on a guy who is on the downslope of his career? Fasano......AND Martin for that matter are doing just fine for right now. I don't believe acquiring Gonzalez would be a big enough upgrade to warrant losing that draft pick.

WHY WHY WHY do people always bring up every single player in the NFL always saying "OH HEY WE SHOULD GET HIM" answer pretty much 85% of the time is no, waste of threads

Our tight ends have been our best receivers. Our starter is young and could be here for a decade. No thanks.

Sure I would do it, I would give up no more than a 1976 ford pinto and a bag of stale chips but sure I would bring him in for nothing. But there is no way on the planet I would trade a 5th or better for a over the hill TE.
We are rebuilding people, we are not just one player away from the SB. We need our picks.

ESPN reported the Bills contacted the Chiefs about Gonzales. I just hope we dont give up a 1st.

You guys have good TE's.

What I was about to add before my computer went haywire was, even though Tony had a great career, I don't want him to end his career here and give up draft picks.

People were just posting stuff about Fasano going to the pro bowl and now we want to waste a draft pick for a tight end on the down side of his career. NO

no no no no no no no

we have 2 starters at TE.. no need for more.. he wouldnt help[ us at all, just make things dysfunctional, with fasno and martin...

NO NO NO

No, no, no, no, no, umm no. Why is it that when we're having success at a position, someone always wants to try and upgrade? If it ain't broke... And Fasano Ain't, then don't fix it. Fasano is gonna be here for awile, Gonzalez, maybe 2 years? maybe.
