everybody needs to calm down we are not that bad. this team played ten times better than any team in the past few years. they were competitive, fun to watch and were still in it till the last play.

pennington had one of the better days in the nfl today. if not for that last shady play or couple of favre god awful circus passes we would be going crazy right now.

d-line needs to seriously improve. are so called studs (brown, ricky, ginn) have got to step up. other than that i think we'll be fine.

so guys take a step back, relax and enjoy the season. were not going anywhere this season but this is the start of something special for years to come.

Actually, I thought the D-line did well. We got good pressure on Favre all day long. We did have some issues with the run game, but I saw that as more of a problem with the linebackers not being in position, and the fact that we were tending to concentrate on the pass rush.

Ya, I thought the d-line played okay other than having some trouble stopping the run, but some of that could have been the play of the linebackers. They need to upgrade the linebacking core in the offseason. The o-line on the other hand was terrible. A big disappointment.

We were competitive in many games last year as well. That doesn't mean jack. Also, the fact that people expect Ronnie to step up? That's just crazy, he is coming back from a really bad injury, he is doing just fine.

Once again we didn't manage the clock well, we didn't call the right plays on the most important drive of the game (2 carries to get 3 yards, but we pass instead). Sorry, I blame our loss on the poor play calling, and lack of preparation.

I totally agree because we were competitive in a lot of games last year as well. I mean in week 1 last year they lost in overtime in Washington. I do like the front office better now though. But the results so far have been the same as last year.

in the first 3 quarters it just seemed like jones was able to run all over us no matter which route he took and that opened it up for the passing game.

if ronnie is so bad off like a lot of people claim then maybe he shouldnt be playing right now.

if you mean by competitive last year scoring 10 points in a game was great or getting our butts handed to us in about 9 games last year, then yeah we were competitve last year. ive been watchin the fins since the late 70s and last year was by far the worst fins performance in my time.

so far? its been one week.

Like I said in another post, the major difference between last year and this year is Parcells, he will NOT allow these stupid errors to continue. We actually have a person in charge who KNOWS FOOTBALL.

That's why I am not worried.
