the FO didn't make this mess and it takes longer than 2 years to overturn a 1-15 roster

look at the teams with talent and depth, alot of these players were drafted years ago

I say 2 more drafts before we are playoff ready

I would have thought we could have built Rome sometime between 1973 and now though.

While this is true, you cannot have guys giving up on plays.

Parcells and Ireland have been here since '73 huh?
It's the same story every year. I don't care how long they have been here. This rebuilding crap is old news. Ever since Jimmy Johnson outlined his "3 year plan" years ago, everyone seems to think it is okay to continue giving free passes to underachieving teams. Just about every year we watch other teams come up from playing like crap to being contenders yet we continue to make excuses for not getting there.

It is one thing to COMPETE and come up short. But to come out FLAT in every game in december wreaks of bad coaching. Even the win over Jacksonville was marred with errors. You CANT come out with no emotion week in and week out. That has nothing to do with "rebuilding".

This is where leaders step in and make a difference. Where is the fire??

Actually, they came out pretty hot in the Jax game. It was turnovers the last two weeks that held back the Dolphins, and that's not as much a coaching problem.

Today? Who knows. The Texans' greatest strength is the Dolphins' greatest weakness. The Texans are number 1 in the NFL with the big play, and the Dolphins are number 1 at giving up the big play. I don't know if it's just Gibril Wilson or what, but I think Pasqualoni is done. Too bad we can't draft Eric Berry.

you can ***** all you want but a decade of bad drafts left the cupboard bare

teams that are playoff worthy have been drafting well for 4+ years

you can keep living and crying in the past or you can view the '08 season as the start to the long road to respectability

im fed up with all this talk. i want to win and win now. in this day and age, the nfl is meant for teams while building through the drafts, also to be able to improve through free agency. the fact that every year we have glaring needs and our FO does nothing to fill those needs[ number 1 reciver for the past decade] makes me tired.

its things that are so easy to see for the naked eye, and yet we do nothing to fix it.

This season is over with, sure we all want to close out the year with a win of the Super Bowl Champ Pittsburgh Squealers...that could take some of the sting away.
Bottom line is this team is in for a major overhaul and some of these guys will be playing their last game in the aqua and orange.
There is no cap next year thus far and the Dolphins have plenty of draft picks, so we should be all right player wise. The coaching staff needs to be addressed as well, especially the DC and secondary coach.
Position needs: TE, WR
ILB, S
