I am constantly shaking my head when I read the threads on this site. During the preseason, it was A.J. this, and Gus that. Nobody was happy. Then we beat the Broncos, and everyone thinks we won the Super Bowl.
Now, we lost to the Jets, and yes this pisses me off, but it truly is only one game, and Buffalo and NE lost as well. Emotions sway far too much from game to game. Chill the **** down....
Do you think Saban is a bad coach, or Chambers blows b/c we lost to the Jets?? One game only, and I don't think NE is packing it in after they lost to Carolina. Chill the **** down....
This is a new regime, with new players, coaches and systems. Things take time. We will probably start forming our identity later in the season. I truly think a 7 to 9 win season is a moderate success with all of this turnover. Many things to be happy about as far as I'm concerned. Better play by our front 7 and Safeties. Decent QB and TE play. RB's can't be graded b/c the OL has been so marginal(even against Denver-especially running the ball). WR's have to be more aggressive to help out our new QB. But overall, I am seeing some aggression and tenacity that hasn't been part of our psyche for years.
Give it some time, and Chill the **** down...
