Chris Canty says "I'm a Parcells type guy"

Tommy Kelly got a seven-year, $50.5 million contract that has $18.125 million in guarantees.

If Canty asked for that in person I think Parcells would slap him.

He can keep dreaming, doesn't look like he will be here if thats what he wants. Not sure if he'll be anywhere if he demands that money.
 
you guys forget we will improve every area of this team and DE could be better and Canty would be perfect for us, Holliday will likely be cut
 
but put this whole contract thing in persective... if you cut hollyday and use the saved cap on canty, you might end up with somewhat of a nice bargain

obviously, ireland will offer less money, and if canty was to accept, ireland will have stroke another perfect deal, replacing hollyday for canty and paying not a lot to do so

IF he thinks he is worth Tommy Kelly money...then the NFL needs to start drug testing him today. Tommy is not even worth his contract..lol
 
The Dolphins would get more bang for their buck if they signed his backup Stephen Bowen. Bowen is RFA who went undrafted who probably won't be highly tendered. Bowen can be a solid rotation guy who can be had cheap.

Canty is nothing more than a mediocre starter who will grossly overpaid on the open market.
