Hey Guys,

I think Chambers' catch on Sunday was the catch of the year so far. I know the Dolphins lost, but wow. Once Culpepper comes around this could be a great hook-up. I read about how streaky he can be on this FanNation.com article http://fannation.com/articles/show/272757 but hopefully he can get on a consistant hot streak soon so we can climb out of this 0-2 hole.

That was an awesome catch. It is a shame we couldn't have played better as a team for the whole game.

Damn, wish i could see it. I was too angry at that point to watch anything though.

This just further proves my point. If Daunte just gets it out there to Chambers, more times than not, he's going to make the play. Get the ball to the play makers and life will be a lot easier.

It's top 10 so far, not yet top 5. The best catch of the year is the catch by Plaxico Burres across midfield agaisnt the Colts last week where he caught it one handed, and bounced it back into his body for a catch. THAT'S a catch.

At least ESPN gave us some love on it. Thank God Berman doesn't run that place like he thinks he does.

Wide Receiver is my position (no, not in the NFL...) and while that was a pretty grab that sort of catch is not so high on the difficulty chart as you might expect. Laying out horizontally for a catch actually makes the grab itself pretty simple. That said, he definitely had to stretch to full length and he did a great job of keeping the ball off the turf to cement possession. A great catch, to be sure, and definitely pretty. But not a jaw-dropper for the level of skill required. When catches get really hard is when they are one-handed (Chambers can do those for sure!), when you have visual or physical interference from part of a defender's body, or when you have only an instant to react to the ball. Combinations thereof are particularly nasty.

he he caught the easy ones it would be awsome

LOL! If what you said had even made sense, then I would respond with this:

Daunte couldn't get him the ball. Chambers dropping balls was the last cause for us to lose on Sunday. For those that got to watch the game on TV, did Chris even have any drops?
