im going with chambers that make me a homer but steve smith is the only wr carolina had so of coarse he had a great year and got all the catches. but imma homer and im like tammy wynett says stand by your man lol

I never said he should have had more yards. Moose was a high profile WR up here. He took away from Smiths younger career. chambers has been the man pretty much since he got here. That was Smiths first year as the #1 WR last year. I am not making excuses but you seen what Smith done when he was finallly the #1 last year. That is the truth man.

You're doing it again, you're making excuses for Smith you call him the best WR in the league, but he couldn't beat out Muhammad?? The one thing all us fin fans know all to well is we've gotten no respect from the media because we have no QB. We have had no QB since Marino! This year we will see how good our O can be now that we have a QB that has been elite at this level. You can't look at what Chambers has done as if he's had the best QB in the league throwing him the ball, when it comes to WR's it matters who their QB is.

That isn't an excuse. Smith is the better #1. How is this an arguement? Chris still has concentration issues while Smiths game seems polished already is what I'm saying. Smith means more to his team and does more for his team even when Moose was there.

Yes he was. That is why we paid him 25 mill. Reggie was on the verge of breaking through and wanny and co. ruined it. I watch the Panthers and keep up.

reggie howard was not an on the verge everyone knew carolinas db's were the main weekness on the team. we overpaid for him, when we signed him everyone knew we overpaid for him. specially since we had madison and surtain at the time.

That was when he was young. Smith expolded last year to NFL MVP stature. Chambers just broke a 1,000 yards for the first time and made the pro bowl. I love Chris but to say I would take him over Smith is just a flat out lie. Smith does it all and learned from those mistakes. The coaches felt he was ready to be the man and did he step up or what? Their isn't any WR I would take over him RIGHT NOW.

howard der da der, he's a nickle back in carolina now. smith toasting him was nothing. chambers toasted the guy from dallas who we signed to be our nickel corned whatever his name was. the guy who signed reggie howard to 5 mil a year also traded a 2nd for feely

smith still dances to get about 1/4 of his yards pers season, the wide reciever screen, dance or negative yards. and like this pastweek he still comes up hobbling a few times year whether he allows it to affect his performance or not. i look forward to seeing them both in the preason game, if you are going PM me maybe we can discuss this convo over a cold brew

cool deal and my roomie who is a die hard panthers fan was just discussing this with me, and we agreed we'd take moose in a CONTRACT year over either of them. but its bedtime. but ya i already have 12 tickets to the dolphins panthers preseason game, we havent played here since 99 so have to go. nite fellow finheaveners and hope i can become one of the gang after a while. nite......and chris chambers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
