This part speaks volumes to me. I think Harrington has Chris in his corner. I know, I could be reading too much into it. But this is an endorsement if you ask me.

Q. Was your timing better with Joey Harrington than with Daunte Culpepper?

Yeah, I think the timing was pretty good today. We took what the defense gave us. They were leaving the flats open, leaving the shallow crosses open, and Joey was able to get the ball out of his hand very quickly to get them in the other guys' hands so they could make plays.

He's doing the PC thing to support the starting QB. He may be with Joey on this but either way, either QB has to get the ball to CHris more. WE're wasting his talent.

It seems like the start of one huge QB mess, or Chambers didn't quite understand the question or that was as nice an answer Chambers could give without saying...start Joey.

I think this quote is very telling and the very first word is the most telling.

"Yeah," not "No,".

It's a NO BRAINER!! Start Joey until C-Pep can elude the pass rush.
He gets rid of the ball much quicker.

"Q. Do you still feel like you were under used?
I tried to change my attitude. I was a little frustrated last week as we know and I just want to go out there and try to run every route to the best of my ability and try to get open. If it doesn't come to me, don't go to the sidelines mad about it because other guys were making plays. Just try to take advantage of my opportunities."

That quote is even more disturbing to me. Why would you get upset when other guys are making plays?

Yeh, that quote is a little disturbing. This is about winning as a team, not for CC. I like Chris, I've met him in person and he's a really nice guy. I'm actually surprised to hear that unless I'm misunderstanding his quote.

I think you misunderstood what he was trying to say. I don't believe he meant he was mad THAT other guys were making plays, he meant he shouldn't be mad that he didn't make the plays, because other guys were.

whys everyone got to look for a damn hidden meaning. take it for what its worth, ive never seen so many people trying to read so deeply into 1 line answers to 3 questions

That's how I read it.

Why doesn't Chris Chambers get the ball more often? Maybe it is because he just doesn't get open enough. I like Chris especially when he makes those un-catchable catches. But still after all these years he drops so many balls. So many easy catches. Chris seems to be very fast on those reverses, but he doesn't seem to be very fast when it comes to out running a safety. I don't buy the excuse that he is double coverage all the time. And if he is so what! So is Steve Smith, So is Harrison on the colts, so are alot of number 1 recievers and i mean alot of number 1 recievers. Guys like Harrison, and Smith catch or almost catch 100 passes every season. Chambers don't. I mean i do like Chambers but to me he just isn't a number 1 reciever. Now i know we have no one else but the excuses for Chambers is just old now. The really bad thing about it is we need so many new guys in different positions that we can't really even think about drafting a new reciever, or getting a free agent next season because of the Cap. Just my opinion....

He absolutely showed me nothing yesterday. I was at the game and watched him 80% of the time. They moved him all around and he still got blanketed all day. He is wayyyyyyyyyy overated, imo.

I think he should spend more time getting open and making catches and less time answering questions.

The guy has shown me NOTHING this year. Great recievers get open and make plays regardless of the situation. He is what he is.
