Nice of the Dolphins to pay for his treatment

After the tape came out....
Foerster showed up for work the next morning and started grading the tape from a win over the Tennessee Titans, but was told to leave while the team sorted things out. When he returned, the team asked Foerster to resign. He asked for a leave of absence, but eventually agreed to a resignation.

Should we let him come back?

I'm kidding. But who thinks he makes it back in the NFL? Should he be let back into the league? I think so. How can players get away with this kind of stuff (and way worse) and never suffer any REAL significant consequences...they get a suspension...they lose money...but they still have their job. This guys entire career should be ruined and ended forever because hes a coach? Nah...I hate him for doing this to our team but I think he deserves another chance.

I honestly think its NFL or nothing...why would he be downgraded to College or High School where he is close to youth and sets an example...

Will never coach in the NFL again, guaranteed

While I don't condone doing coke...i gotta imagine a decent portion of the leagues players smoke weed, take painkillers like skittles and probably maybe even more hardcore stuff. I don't think he should be blacklisted forever.

The most important thing is he is getting the help he needs. As far as coaching goes.....I don't think he is black listed for ever, someone will eventually take a chance on him...........but never as a head coach.

He will get a job eventually...A substance abuse issue...that is minor. Dude beats his wife gets a second chance.

A substance abuse issue on its own may not be a huge issue. But doing it in work? Repeatedly? That is huge

And I am far from convinced he is a particularly good coach. never thought that was a strong hire even before the drug stuff

He could of thought about that before he contributed to the downfall of the 2017 season. Absolutely no sympathy for this jerk. Just trying to say the right things so he can get back in the league's good graces. And the sad thing is, someone will probably hire him again!:rage

It has been a little more than three months since former Dolphins assistant coach Chris Foerster resigned after a video of him snorting cocaine at his desk surfaced on the internet and went viral.
On Wednesday, Foerster’s first public comments since that day came to light, as Foerster spoke with NFL.com’s Tom Pelissero about his history of drug and alcohol abuse as well as the progress he has made during his time in rehab.
