I've said it many times but Flores is all over the draft's (which I love). Those hating on Grier for player picks need to watch these videos to understand Flo AND Grier make the picks not just Grier.

If my coach wants a certain player I'm getting him a certain player.

I agree with this. However the Flo/Grier tandem hasn’t brought us a windfall of talent. So far it looks like a bunch of solid but not spectacular players. Is that really any different than we’ve had over the past 2 decades? Shouldn’t the goal be a higher ceiling roster instead of just a higher floor?

For two decades we had zero coaching abilities. We have that now in Flores. We saw just last year how he can coach up players.......I will take solid with great coaching to get me spectacular.

I mean Flores was clearly heavily involved in the Phillips and Holland picks. That said the buck stops with Grier and it's his responsibility to maximize every draft pick.

Yeah! It's obvious, imo, they're perfectly fine with the RB room. There's not much more to say on the subject really.

What's your thoughts on the TE room? On paper it seems like a log-jam. But there's something brewing that i'm not crazy about...

It's looking more and more likely to me that this team isn't resigning Gesicki?

I assume the plan is to get the comp pick for him and let some other team sign him to a big contract.

They're likely going to resign Smthye and have extended the other kid and roll with the recent addition.

that’s fine, I get that. However that becomes incredibly harder when you have to make 50 players rise about their talent level. I just would prefer not to follow the New England method because there‘s only one Tom Brady.

Seems so but I will wait to see how it plays out.

Do you mean this year?

I’m looking over the past 3 Flo/Grier drafts and I don’t see very many all pro potential players. Lots of solid roster guys but is that enough to catch Buffalo and KC or are we eventually going to need some stars?
