I know you guys are gonna rip me for this thread but doesnt it put some urgency on us to bring in Chris Henry for a look. If we have first crack at him because we are first on the waiver wire so we may wait until cuts. I know he is trouble but it makes all the sense in the world because our WR Corp is terrible. He would improve our WR's big time and give Beck a nice target to throw to with him and Ginn. Yes I said it BECK will start week 1. Bring all the BECK HATERS!!!!
 
He maybe a thug but he helps our team sign him cheap and if he messes up cut him. he will help us right away
 
i thought we should discuss what we are going to do because we need someone else unless BP & CO is satified with what we have on the roster. GOD I HOPE NOT

Okay, fine. However, why in the hell does it have to be Chris Henry? There is a reason as to why he is on the unemployment line!
 
In terms of sheer talent, he'd be the second best WR (inarguable) EASILY. And arguably the best (like Ginn's potential, but Henry has had big time games and has been a legitimate deep threat).

Only downside? Come about a week preceeding his signing you might hear this "Breaking News: "Dolphins WR Henry arrested near Collins Ave in South Beach for assaut with a deadly weapon"

But if he can be had on the cheap, it really wouldn't matter. Just cut him if he bleeps up.
 
I know but we need to take a chance on someone or its time Keyshawn out of retirement. What are the other availiable options or are we waiting for cuts.
 
Thats what I think and look at the success Jerry Jones has had with problem children. That turned out well with Tank Johnson. You dont hear anything about him anymore. There is no better option.
 
Why sign him, when is he is likey to be suspnend for most of the 2008 season. Plus Parcells said he does not want thugs on this team, and Henery's prior criminal record speaks for itself. therefore there is no way Henry is signed to join the dolphins!

Maybe Miles Austin or Sam Hurd out of Dallas. As far as other cuts go, I'm not sure. However, with teams trying to get their picks signed and trying to get down to their 80 man roster limits, there will be some decent players that will be there for the taking.
