Chris Hogan NEEDS to make this team...

We have an extra third round pick. Use it to get the best reciever you can.

I don't understand the obsession on this board with Wallace, Pruitt, and Moore. These are bottom of the barrel guys that Ireland has hoped could turn into diamond in the rough players. You can't focus your efforts in building an entire WR corps doing this. These three, Hartline and Gates need to be shown the door. The Dolphins have wasted enough time and money on them.

I am more inclined to pick up a waiver wire casualty or two and roll with the rookies who are at least showing potential then waste more time with garbage.

Our entire roster of wide recievers is competing for the 6th wide reciever spot, none of them are worthy of spots 1-5. Nice job Jeff !!!

im jumping on the Hogan bandwagon. the guy broke a tackle and gained a few hard yards and made a nice ST play. rashard matthews was impressive as well

So far I like Hogan too. I think he's earned the opportunity to get some reps with the #1s against #1s. As far as "athletic ability", Egnew has a ton of it, he just can't play football.

For me so far making the roster looks like this.

Naanee
Bess
Hartline (PUP)
Pruitt
Matthews
Fuller
Cunningham

And don't rule out a possible trade for WR

Not happening. They may not even carry 6 WR's...let alone 7.

So far our reciever core looks like it's going to be (no particular order) Bess, Naane, Pruitt, Hogan, Matthews

i think Fuller gets stashed to the PS to work on his consistancy catching the ball since he has shown some promise.. i like hartine, but i get the feling he's kinda falling out of favor since he hasn't been able to get any kind of action due to injury.. marlon moore is a complete wildcard- he's been relatively quiet in training camp/preseason games, but you never know.. "Ankle Weights" Wallace probably needs a strong game in the 3rd preseason game to show coaches he has the goods, cause right now it seems like he is falling out of favor. he needs to have a game like he did in the 1st preseason game (except this time it has to be against first teamers).. Naanee is a weird one because i think the coaching staff will keep him despite him being invisible so far in preseason games. his blocking and nfl experience make him valuable- his performance in the 3rd preseason game will give everyone a better idea of his status on the team. if Naanee does't make it, i wouldn't be surprised if wallace gets the spot

SN: sorry, i probably spelled Naanee wrong lol

limited look given his snaps but i have to say that he was separating out of his cuts yesterday and running nice looking routes...i'm becoming a believer

bump him up to the 2nd group vs atlanta...hard knocks has made it hard for us to hide him for the p squad...might as well see what he's got against better comp...the separating out of cuts is nice...and we could sure use it
