For the record - I'm in favor of getting him… but ONLY if the trade was for no more than a 3rd round pick and his salary was reasonable. Johnson's got a history of solid and steady production BOTH running and receiving and I'm guessing he's got to be better at pass protection than Lamar Miller (he'll, I could probably pick up the blitz better than Miller).

At 29, though… that's the thing (and we've been here before with Ricky). Still, for another maybe two or three years… would be helpful for T-hill, I think, to have a back like this to count on.

We already have our own one-cut RB that can't creat at the LOS. Lamer Miller.

Miller and CJ2K both require stout O-lines to open gaps and lanes to produce. Neither can creat on their own.

Might as well stick with Miller for another year with a decent O-line and see what he can do.

What we do need, is a Thomas replacement. Guy is far from our "power back".

I think from the replies so far that you should post a POLL with your question about how many threads we need. LOL! Too funny. (It's obvious we're all a little bored and chomping at the bit for something exciting to happen. BRING ON THE DRAFT, dammit!)

I'm not sure Hickey gets credit for any picks his teams had made, he was pretty far down the chain as far as those kind of things go.
