Chris Leak?

Does anyone know if Chris Leak is coming out of college this year? Could be someone to look at as 3rd-5th round pick. Natural Leadership ability, good mobility, and a strong arm. Can anyone disagree with us taking a shot at him? Plus Saban loves guys from the SEC that he has coached against.

He's staying at UF and he's probably too short to play in the NFL. I'm 5'11" and he's shorter than me. I don't care what scouting reports say, I've seen the man in the flesh.

Only if he has a great year. He hasn't quite lived up to his expectations since coming out of Independence. Hopefully with this being the second year in Meyer's hybrid offense and with Bubba Caldwell back from injury and the addition of the number 1 prospect in the nation at wr plus the other wr's we picked out, he might break out.

No he s gonna stay plus hes release isnt that quick and hes too small, those are the raesons why i dont think he'll be a good Pro QB. Maybe I'm wrong, though he will have mastered Meyer's system by next year and Meyer works magic in his second year.

Release is something that you can correct with time. His height might be a problem though but i'm not counting this guy out just yet.

True, but Meyer's already told him he'd be the starter next season and I doubt Meyer would go back on his word. Theres a reason he's such a great recruiter and lying isn't one of them.

I'm a gator alum and huge Florida fan. I don't feel he'll make a good nfl qb no matter when he comes out. Skills are above average but not great. But I don't think he's a good leader, nor do I think he's a particularly passionate player. He lacks "it," whatever that may be. I also feel that he's really in a bad situation at Florida. He does not fit the system, it's not what he signed up for, and the system really doesn't show off his talents to where he's going to improve his draft status much. Meyer had to simplify and come off his system this year for Leak to get anything done, and Tebow fits what he wants to do. Kind of feel sorry for Leak.
