Chris McAlister ??

Chris McAllister is a HUGE shell of his former self.. He is better than Eric Green, I will say that. I also do not expect Green to start.. McAllsiter is really no more than a nickle corner...

BTW, whats wrong with the site today?!?!?.. The pages havent been loading fully all day long.

It's being worked. We have to wait on our tech support to address the issues. The site has been touch and go from a graphincs standpoint off and on for a few days. Just be patient. We're aware of it, and, it will get fixed. If you could, there is a "Contact us" button on the bottom of the page. Can't hurt to have the tech guy's inbox a little busy to impress upon him the issue :)

Ha, done!

Did you just say "standpoint".. the pornstasch flasbacks. :foundout:

We can use another corner? We're set for now man.
Well I like both Davis and Smith as prospects, and Green could be solid, but I would not say we are set. Davis and Smith haven't even stepped on the field yet. Until they have proven themselves, I wouldn't mind bringing in another solid vet like McAlister for a one year deal. Only proven CB on the roster is Will Allen, he's solid, but not a playmaker.

Yeah, true. Although, at this point I'm not even sure we could afford him

For the right price, he'd be a welcome addition. Doubt he'll want the right price, though. When he was in his prime, I think he was every bit as good as Champ.

Not sure what his asking price is. But if he's wanting 3-4 million for one year, I might be interested. 5 million plus, no thanks.

Hes still out there, we can use another corner http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/stats?playerId=1761 he aint bad
Has he been cleared to resume football activities yet?
McAlister, who said he expects to be cleared for “100 percent football activity” by May or June, is hoping to sign on with another team for the upcoming campaign.

If he has yet to be cleared for 100 percent football activities then there is no need to even consider bringing him in.

With his injury history the past two seasons, missing 18 games, 3-4 million might be too much.

I will pass on someone that is that injured and old at this point. We will be comfortable at Corner I think by start of the season. These rookies will impress.

I'd be willing to give him a 1 year $3-4 million contract no problem AS LONG AS its based on performance escalators. He'd make for a great stop-gap.
