...is AWFUL. Almost a complete waste of font.

Are you serious, Mort?

Here are some of the blurbs that didn't make the column:

*The Dolphins tried a formation in practice where Ronnie Brown took the shotgun snap and Jake Long lined up to the right side, next to Vernon Carey. They call it the 'Wildcat'. Look for them to use some of that this year.

*The team likes what they have seen from second round QB Chad Henne. They may decide to go with him when Chad Pennington's contract expires in 2010, if they don't decide to re-sign Pennington.

*Rumor has it the Dolphins may sign Jason Taylor in the coming weeks. But, he could have a difficult time fighting LB Matt Roth for playing time on the strong side of the defense.

*Joey Porter appears ready to put his disastrous 2007 season behind him. I wouldn't give up on him just yet. He may have a good year or two left in him.

*The front office believes that Jake Grove may be a better Center than what they had in Samson Satele, who left the team via free agency. If so, trading for Grove will be yet another feather in Bill Parcells' cap.

*The Dolphins are really high on LT Jake Long. He might be worth keeping an eye on.

Thoroughly disappointed. To think I actually looked for this report because I wanted to see what he found...my god.

Ha! The one positive to Mortensen slipping into dementia is that it inspired you to make those most excellent satirical snippets.

What the F?

I've looked at the date of ck's original post at least three times to make sure this thread isn't a year old.

he mixed up some of his notes with last year??

Samson Satele didnt leave the team during free agency...

Nothing about our rookie corner that is going to start either huh?

Mort seems to have fallen off in the last few years..
I put John Clayton over him now..
and something is just wrong with Adam Sheff on espn

I was thinking the exact same thing when I read the report last night. Really a big, big disappointment.
