Did anyone get to watch this? it was on a local sports channel... some interesting stuff. Myers asked Joe his thoughts on the best QBS of all time.. he mentioned Johnny unitas, sammy baugh but went on bout Danny. He even admits that Dan gets overlooked cuz he didnt win a SB and that shouldnt reflect how he was on the gridiron. He also stated that Dan wasnt unfortunate with a dominating D that he had.

I wonder how much he got paid to do that interview.

I have been watching the 84 AFC championship games Steelers vs. Dolphins man he had the quickest release ever. He was plain amazing Peyton has nothin on Dan.

your right peyton has nothin on marino...manning wants to win and not care about stats..marino could have care less about winning but whether or not he was scoring a td in a game...thanx danny

That might be the dumbest thing I ever read. What would you know about Marino anyway? You were about two years old when Dan was in his prime. Dan Marino was one of the most ruthless competitors I've ever seen. He is, I believe, second on the list for most wins and most comeback wins all time, which is amazing when you consider the fact that he played on a team that had one 1,000 yard rusher and a defense that cracked the top ten only once in his whole career. If Dan played on a team as talented as the 49'ers were, he would be wearing just as many, if not more, Super Bowl rings as Joe Montana. It's like Bill Walsh said, " Joe Montana was a part of a system. Dan Marino was the system." I think the reason that Peyton has struggled in so many big games is because he may lack a little of that competitive fire that burned so hot in Dan Marino.

Beyond all of that, has the guy who insists Peyton wants to win ever seen him in a big game? He blows.

both are winners but IMO as far as talent and funner to watch is Marino no doubt. Peyton is boring wide open Harrison, wide open Wayne, and wide open stokley. Marino had a release and a cannon that is unheard of just watch film.

AJ, can you just ban this guy! <edit>

Exactly.....Wallace758 was 15 when Danny retired, was 10 when Dan was startarting his slight decline, injures etc and was 1-9 when Dan was "The Man".

The kid doesnt know any better, must be listening to alot of poor info to make a comment like that.

I'm going to pretend you didn't say that. Even if he didn't care about winning (which is untrue, he has said he'd trade away all his records for a SB ring) he put up 147 wins in his career, which is exactly 1 below 1st.

Wow, imagine if he DID care...

[mod]your second post left something to be desired - not only did you attack another poster but you also circumvented the profanity filter - i suggest you read up on the t.o.s. before your next post gets you banned[/mod]

Wow! Are you a Dolphins fan? I mean someone said your age was your excuse and I am just as old as you and I have a totally different view of Dan Marino. I honestly can't believe a Dolphin fan would make a remark like that.
