I wonder why the dolphins havent tried working him out since he was pretty dominant as a Jag...sure, he's 33 years old but does have experience of being a dominant RG....thoughts?

It wouldn't hurt to bring him in for a try-out. He was always one of the better guards out there and he had been remarkably healthy in his previous nine seasons, missing only two games.

But at 33, coming off a ruptured quad, I wouldn't expect much. If he were healthy he might help clear the way for Ricky and Ronnie. That's a huge if though.

If he was so good, the Jags would sign him considering they lost their two starting guards for the year, and lost their center for 5 more weeks. And the fact that they have to use scrubs on the interior line to go up against Marcus Stroud who they traded away

I think we HAVE to get this guy. I got him two weeks ago on Madden and he is like a 88 overall and has done a great job. He has been one of my best OLman. He opens wholes and I run behind him on 3rd and short more than any other player. I fully understand real life is not as important as Madden but if it is a good decision on madden then it is a good decision. I say do it. And if the front office needs to know what kind of contract he will want tell them to give me a call....or they can buy themselves a madden of their own.

i ll bet money that the Jags bring him back in with 2 starting OL out for the season. We have talked on here about bringin him in for the last 4 months and no one seems to want him. But it couldnt hurt. I have 0 faith in Murphy and Ndukwe, or Alleman. Maybe Murphy could be good in a few years but right now were in trouble. I think we should maybe look at Anthony Clement as well since he was released.

This is a joke, right?

We're rebuilding and going younger not older, ie. Taylor and Thomas. We're not going to pick up anyone unless they have the possibility to be here for many years.
