i don't think they have decided yet. If worst comes to worst they will store him on PS. I would bet on that if he gets cut.

Sparano wouldn't be chewing his butt if he didn't still give a damn but it doesn't look good.

I remember McDuffie taking a few off the mask as a rookie PR. Oops I'm not supposed to talk about the past but I couldn't resist.

Looks like a PS guy.

He can be electric when he's got the ball in his hands, but he's still too rough around the edges to use in real games. A year learning the finer points of the return game would do him good.

Damn sure would love to actually get maximum value out of Ginn rather than playing butterfinger Williams

You know who he's reminding me of? If we flash back to the 2002 season (sorry...the wretched era of Wanny), we started the season with a rookie return guy named Albert Johnson (I think). He was major-league fast but was scared to death of the ball and muffed a bunch of them like Williams is doing.

We had to wait for Ginn for two years...Allen for longer than that...but a rookie makes a mistake...and it's off with his head.

I like his potential, but even as good as his returns were last week, most of his initial handleing of the ball was very shakey! He wasn't handleing the ball cleanley, which has been the case this game too. I hope he makes it and straightens it out because he has a knack for the creases.

Granted, Ginn has been disappointing as an NFL returner, but he didn't put the ball on the ground left and right.

a mistake. How many bobbled punts has he had in two games? Much more than one. You do realize he has been a return man for years he is not jusy picking it up lol

The difference is that Williams has shown nothing in TC. He had a couple of nice runs last week, but that's it. The players you mentioned had shown potential in TC. Williams was given his chance...tonight was his stage...and he "dropped the ball"...literally...

I find it disappointing that other teams can easily find capable return men but this team seriously struggles to find guys who can put a reasonable average. Why don't we realize that a good return man can get you 5-10 yards of field position nearly every time?

I really wish Williams would have stepped up, but he may have run out of chances.
