What a game!!!! I couldnt expect anything different from these two teams. They are the true definition of a rivalry. These players really dont like each other and it shows. I have a feeling Sparano and Parcells are getting sick and tired of Ryan's mouth.

Well that being said here is how I saw it last night:

(QB)B+
Henne played outsanding last night. He managed the game in a very pennigton type performance. He broke loose in the 4th Quarter and threw 3 amazing type passes. 1.The Bomb to Ginn 2. The touch pass to Camarillo 3. and the rollout Dart Pass to Camarillo. Henne really is comming into his own. Why did I not grade this in A? He didnt completely dominate the game. But then again untill the 4th Quarter he wasnt asked or needed to. Pretty soon I expect A's to start flying here.

(RB) A+++
WC is not a Gimmick.
WC is not our only Offense.
Ronnie and Ricky are the real deal and are running hard and fast.
Best Duo in NFL right now.
Polite (who was in my doghouse all offseason, i really wanted to upgrade him) Man was I wrong, I have been eating crow for breakfast, lunch and dinner last couple of weeks. The guyis a blocking machine. He is playing so hard right now, the guy is simply amazing and I am glad he is a fin!!

(OL) B+
For most of the game 90%ish, i would say they totally dominated the Jets D. Their was a serious push down the field, and lockdown blocking all the way around. There were times that Jenkins manhandled both our center and Donald Thomas who was helping out most of the night. But what do you expect? Jenkins is a monster and we atleast contained him the rest of the game.

(WR) B-, C+
Aside from about 3-4 plays they were pretty much non existent, I did see great Blocking from our WR positon and as such I lean this grade closer to the B range.

(TE) A-
Forget the couple of passes and TD. Their blocking last night was outstanding. They really helped set the edge on a few runs and provided a litte extra time for Henne on some of the blitzes. I have come to realize that their lack of performance early on in the season was not due to their inability it was more of there strength in the blocking scheme and the strength of this offense.

(DL,LB) C++
They provided some pressure but we need much much more. We allowed Leon Washcington to basicallly run free everytime he touched the ball.
Starks- Played very well and is our best DL so far this season.
Ferguson- Is still showing that he has some football left in him
Crowder- I am one of his biggest critics. But for the most part he played a very physical game last night. We just need him to play with that emotion evergame
Porter- Lets hope he gets healthy this bye week because we need his pressure
Taylor-Flashes his greatness, but we need more from him.

(CB,S) C
A lot of bonehead plays from Wilson but for the most part our safeties played pretty tough tonight and tackled much better.
Vontae was burnt badly a few times and still has alot to learn about positioning.
Will Allen-Was smoked a few times which one lead to a horrible call of PI against him. While I dont blame him for that call, I do blame him for being out of position again. He was out of position again for Edwards 1st TD pass.
S.Smith- We need to keep him on the field. We need to stop this whole switching back and forth between him and Vontae. Vontae and Will Allen need to start splitting series because they both need some work.
Jones- Played very well in the Nickel.

Henne vs Sanchez- It was clear in my mind that Henne was the better QB, if it were not for 4 drop passes he would have been a sick 24 of 26 for somewhere around 270ish yards. Sanchez QB rating on the other hand was in the 50% with a couple of really bad throws. Now dont take this as a knock on him as I think this guy is going to be the real deal as he flashed moments of this last night. He just gonna need this whole year to fully develop. I like both these QB's very much, should make for a very very nice next decade of games vs the Jets.

Overall - Both teams are very very similar. Can run the ball well, above average Defense and both Offenses which are slowly developing into sometime special. I dont think the Dolphins are as bad as their record indicated and the Jets are not as great as their record early on indicated. All in all I do think we are the top two teams in the AFC East and the Patriots reign is slowly comming to an end.
Cheers to both teams.

Yeah, pretty much the way I saw it too. Jets O-line better than I thought it would be...

Honestly if the RB's got an A++++ how does the QB not? Henne was put out of rhythm when they would constantly take him out for the wildcat plays and then put him in on 3rd down. Henne won us this game. He was clutch and did not make any mistakes. He passed the ball at the right time, to the right place, and with stellar accuracy. Henne showed big play ability and decision making in his 2nd NFL start.

Henne last night did everything.

Don't get me wrong this is a great writeup on your part about the game but I just think Henne deserves just as much credit as the running backs.

in the blocking department, BIG props to Haynos, man i think we found a gem in him... his blocking has been outstanding!

plus he's shown his hands are good enough so far

I understand what you are saying and agree to extent, the differnce is The RB's really dominated yesterday the entire game, while Henne did what he was asked to do and even flashed some greatness in 2 drives last night. Not knocking anything against Henne.

I did forget to mention that the loss of Patrick Cobbs will be huge. Hilliard has some huge shoes to fill.
