CJ a done deal? read info regarding with raiders and CJ

I hope so. If it's true we'll hear about it sooner or later because they'll start negotiations with him.

I have said all along that I think the Raiders will probably take CJ, but not because Al Davis is still apparently high on Walter or may be trading for the Lions backup (forgot his name), but because Lane Kiffin's specialty is WRs. This guy has recruited and coached some pretty talented WRs at USC. I have had the feeling all along that CJ should be the pick by the Raiders. Of course, could be a smokescreen? But there is no denying how talented CJ is. It's kind of a no-brainer pick, IMO.

Quinn still has to make it by Cleveland before we can start thinking that a trade-up is a real possibility. Even if Oakland doesn't take him, Detroit and Cleveland are serious threats.

Personally, I think Detroit likes Stanton more, and Cleveland likes Russell more. Oakland taking CJ would complete the trifecta and allow Quinn to slip.

I've been expecting Johnson to first overall for a few weeks now. JaMarcus Russell just doesn't strike me as a guy who deserves to be chosen number one overall. Almost everyone agrees Johnson is the top player in this draft and probably the best wide receiver prospect in over a decade. Oakland has two big name malcontent wide receivers who put up very dissapointing numbers. Johnson would not only provide them with a much needed receiving threat, but would help to add character and class to the organization. Sounds like the perfect situation to me.

There should be some major movement as teams trade up to land one of the studs of the draft.

Unless they got a trade for some1 else to move to the #1 pick it would be dumb for them not tot take him.

Sweet! Todd McShay from espn.com says that the Lions are leaning toward Gaines Adams and the Browns want Russell. If that happens then I don't see Arizona or TB drafting Quinn. Arizona would take Joe Thomas in a hearbeat if he's still there at 5. TB may want to trade out or take Chucky's man crush Okoye. That would leave Washington who is rumored to want to trade out of that pick and the dolphins have the firepower to trade up and take Quinn with the 6th overall. Now according to the draft trade value table says that if we offered our 1st and 2nd (60th) that would be more than enough. The difference between 9th and 6th overall is 250. Washington should and could give up their 5th round pick to make the trade more even. If that was the case I would pull the trigger in a heartbeat to grab Quinn.

If i were the Raiders GM, it would be a no-brainer...CJ all the way!

yea but minnesota said they still might choose a qb, so their a threat.I would not b suprised if unfortunately Tampa Bay took quinn.also i dont think that redskins want to trade ANY draft picks since they only got i believe three or four this year.
