CJ Beathard on Miami's Short List; Tannehill Wants Starting Position

He has started 13 games. Not of the bench. 63% doesn't cut it in the NFL. Same he had in college as well. Just not a accurate QB.

Off the bench, in relief of the starter. Like Skylar. That is not a measuring stick.
The measuring stick is after 3-4 of starting, whatever the contract is, and the question is not whether the completion percentage is 63 or 66 percent but whether we are competing for superbowl.
A QB like Milton, or Hooker, or Rudolph needs to be a starter and be given his window, like QBs who are given their 3-4 year window but were worse talents, like Will Levis, Tannehill, Darnold, etc.

Hooker is ar least interesting but Detroit picked him high 3rd to groom behind Goff. They may ask for a 1st.

Milton is big dude and has an arm to throw over a mountain only problem is if you say hit the mountain he will miss it. There is a reason it took him 6 years to become a starter in college, were he still struggled with accuracy. Guy throws straight lasers with zero touch as well. Big fat no on this dude.

Save the picks hire a real GM and let him draft a guy.
that's some funny chiat

they'll play ST no matter how long Tua is out. CJB or whoever scrub Grier likes will be the 2 so buckle up. ST will grab your attention then just issue the death blow to the team. He just doesn't have it and we all know it. I wonder how long the other players will continue to play hard seeing what we are about to see.

I would see if Denver would give us Wilson for a 6th or 7th rounder. He does have tools and has flashed at times in the shitstorm that is the Jets. See what McD could do with him the rest of the year.

I'd go with someone with tools like Trey Lance. He's very expendable for the Cowboys.
If the Cowboys would let him go for a 7th rounder, why not? Whoever they sign is a one season rental and since the Cowboys didn't pick up his 5th year option, he would be a one year rental. I'm sure they'll pull the trigger if they feel Lance gives them the best chance to win over the other available QBs.

I just don't see the point. This is a pathetic attempt to win a couple meaningless games
Its hard for the rational mind to understand most of the fanbase this week.

Haters want him gone, just out of hate... I get it, they are demented and weird, but i understand it.

The rational fans, think he should probably retire or at least take a very long break.... I get it.

The group that's surprised me, is the rather large group of people who want him to come back as soon as he gets cleared. It makes no sense to me on any level.... the team isn't good enough to win a Superbowl regardless, Tua could face life-changing injury and they seem to think, this is the last injury Tua will ever sustain.

Tuas been seriously injured 4 out of the last 6 seasons. Even if he gets cleared and comes back, how many games will he play before the next major injury? What kind of plan is that for your franchise? What makes people think that "the fifth concussion is the charm?"
