The kid is 6´3 240 just ran 4.59 and is a really good OLB. All that guys at the combine are giving him mad props. I have always said we are going OLB in the Draft. What do you guy think.

Well DraftCountDown has us taking him at 25, now here is where it gets tricky Maulauga just heard something pop and is out. Will he be there at 25 now. With Laurinatis and Cushing moving up .

Exactly, or will he at least drop to where it won't cost too much to move up for him.

If that injury Maualuga had causes him to fall, more power to us in a chance to get him.

Me personally, I'd be happy with any of the 3 USC LB's.

Mike Mayock just said that he thinks Clay Matthews is the best pass rushing LB in the Draft.

Cushing will be moved inside in 3-4 Defense and he really has not impressed me. Im on the Matthews bandwagon. I think he has everything Parcells like in a LB size, speed, just displayed good hands sow excellent awarness and the kid has pedigree.

Personally he is the guy I want right now at 25. An instant upgrade at OLB over Roth. Remember Wake is a project this kid looks like the real deal.

One thing I love about this kid is how hard a worker everyone says he is.

I like the guy, but at first I was unsure about taking him in the first. Not so much anymore. That being said, I would still rather have Maualuga if we canget him. ILB is just a much bigger need for us.

i keep hearing this, but figured it would go away with him being so light at the combine. at 240 he doesnt have the size Parcells wants. specially at SOLB.

The kid can gain the weight. Weight is the least of my concern. He is a player and a hardworker and those are things this organization loves. We he came in to college he weighed 194 pounds and the kid has come so far I think he will defitnetly make it in this league.

im not saying he cant, alls im saying is, you listed he had everything Parcells wants including size. and i think its clear we would want someone bigger at SOLB.

All USC-LB's looked smooth today (2/23) brothers...we need ta add a Ken Norton-Jr. branch to the Parcells tree (jmo)

I think he started 10 games in college regardless of how athletic he is DO you want to spend millions and take a chance on someone with very limited playing time?

Another question you might want to ask
was his deficiencies hidden by playing along side 2 of the best LBs in college???

He may have the genetics but I just would have like to have seen him in much more game situation film

He wasn't playing much LB this season. The starting 3 were Maualuga, Cushing and Maiava with Matthews playing the end across from Kyle Moore.
