Clayton "Ginn slipping"

Going to #9 is slipping? If anything to me, that means his stock has dramatically rised. The guy is a reach at the Top 20 of the 1st round.

CK berated me on the topic of Ginn a few weeks ago and made some good points. I still don't want a smallish, injury prone receiver at pick #9.

Now, if by some chance he took a Thurman Thomas-like fall down into the top of round 2, then it would be a different story...

As i said after his "workout", he'll be a nice pick for us @ 40. Assuming we don't give it up to move up and take Okoye!

If you choose to view it as berating someone by simply pointing out a few facts, then so be it...but if that's the case, you're probably not going to like me pointing out that to call someone who has had only one major injury in his high school and college career, an injury taken when a fellow teammate quite unexpectedly and awkwardly tackled him in the end zone after he scored a touchdown, to call that person "injury prone" is ludicrous in the extreme...just my opinion.

I agree CK...so far he's not injury prone...just injured.

I suppose I am projecting him as injury prone because of his slight size and strength. Additionally, he hasn't exactly sped back from his bowl game injury as evidenced by the fact that he couldn't finish his pro day workout.

Far be it from me to quarrel with a self-proclaimed "guru."

It does make you wonder why it appears that Basketball players that get bad sprains...seem to come back alot faster...and they play on a hard wood surface?

The top ten picks in the draft are about taking chances. We are most likely going offense. So that means that if Quinn is gone then Ginn is obviously going to be on Miami's mind. That doesn't mean we will take him but at least consider it. He is an explosive playmaker that contrary to popular belief has the ability to score in the red zone. That is the kind of guy we need. Most of our WR's are possesion guys. Chambers has been inconsistent as a big play guy. So consider the speedy Ted Ginn Jr. We need a guy like that. Also like CK said having on injury is not being injury prone. Most people on this board think that he has a sprained ankle when in actuality it is a sprained foot. He needs a little more time to be 100% but com football time he will be ready.
