Clean house... AND DO IT RIGHT THIS TIME!

The overreaction is hilarious. Clowns know absolutely nothing about the Martin situation, yet want to "blow everything up" when we're coming off a win against a damn good team in prime time. We're in position to go to the playoffs.

Bunch of Stephen A and Bayless wannabees.

My dream would be a strong GM and David Shaw (Stanford). I think Shaw has that strong, quiet leadership (ala Dungy) that this team needs.

Philbin nor Ireland will be fired this season. Ireland just got a new deal, for better or for worse, you think Ross likes throwing away millions of dollars?

I'm also saving this thread to my favorites for when Philbin takes us to the playoffs.

Ross could find the money to buy out Ireland's deal in his couch cushions. Money will not be an issue when he's going to be directly embarrassed by what these clowns have let fester. Between this, the mess on the field and the empty stands I would not blame him one bit. In fact, I'm all for it.

I will throw Lovie Smith's name out there. High character guy, damn good coach, and if there are racial undertones hiring him would help put that fire out. Don't get me wrong, I am not advocating hiring someone based on his skin color, but you have to look at the PR/HR end of it too since after all it is a business. Ross could do a hell of a lot worse than hiring Lovie.

lets not get to carried away. This team has had some bumps in the road with bad oline play and a bit of dram with martin and incognito but they are still 4-4 after beating a good cincy team.

Lets keep things in perspective here.

Let's beat Tampa with a makeshift O line before we start thinking about playoffs. This is just another example of Ireland's ineptitude. Other than Ross he is the only common factor throughout these horrendous seasons of losing. If we do not manage to make the playoffs this year I think everyone should see that he has to go.

I think you're assuming too much with the Incog situation. Ross hasn't been "embarrassed" yet, we need something more official to come out regarding this. As it stands now, with the information at hand, I see no one being fired for this.

And we just beat a 6-2 Cincy team that some were lauding to go to the SB in the AFC. Maybe our OLine is a bit of a mess, but not the whole team.

So you are a fan of constant mediocrity. Look how horrid Sherman's play calling is. his refusal to run the ball in the second half, with a LEAD has cost us 2 games (Mia and Buffalo).
Ireland has been absolutely pathetic in the draft.
Philbin is just average at best, so while they are cleaning out might as well start fresh at hc as well

Yeah, it's only been 13 years since our last playoff win. So we haven't been there since '08, who cares? We look like total world beaters right now at 4-4.

What we do know is our track record of mediocrity.

We've seen this episode before and personally I don't like these reruns.

Need to give Philbin more than a year and a half man. Or any coach for that matter... You can't have that kind of turnover and be successful.

Wtf does the last 13 years have to do with being in position this season? Did I say we look like world beaters? Did you think that before the season began? Maybe you did, and that wouldn't surprise me.

Most of us thought we'd be in the mix, and guess what, we are.

Fire everyone please. Once again we're a national punchline. If what Incognito Sr. is implying, that the coaching staff and front office KNEW that Martin had issues and attempted suicide, and let this thing fester without nipping it in the bud...they are culpable. ALL of them.
