I hope Clemons is ready to go this Sunday and I hope somewhere in Sparano's thick skull is a brain cell still operating enough to start Clemons. Jones aka fanboy (thanks to Fin Fans making judgments on players based on 1 game) is the weakest link on a defense being brutalized so far. It's ironic a player as ****ty as Jones was actually popular on this site but I guess if you come in as a back-up and Vince Young throws a ball right to you for a pick it means you're a "play-maker" who takes chances. He takes chances alright, mostly do to him being to ignorant to know where his assignment is. If you watch the replay where he didnt double Johnson like he was suppose to it actually hurts your brain trying to figure out what he was doing. There was no other WR on his side of the field, no TE running down the middle of the field at him, he was literally covering air while our #4 CB (**** u Sparano) is letting the best WR in the league run past him. Clemons may not make cause turnovers but at least he knows his ****ing assignment and the only big plays Jones is making is for the other team when he gives up his weekly long TD because his heads in his ***. Jones has been so bad he's made Culver look like a steady, reliable safety.

How many threads of the same thing are we gonna ****ing see. I mean really.

Theres the myth of Clemons not giving up big plays. He gave up plenty last year.

I knew everybody would regret saying Jones should be the starter.

Go post on one of the "Sparano sucks" "Dolphins suck for Luck" "The Browns are going to beat us" threads then. There's not another Jones/Clemons post on the front page unlike the numberous "Fire" threads. Clemons also seems to be healthy now. I dont recall making you read this thread. Thanks for your post though bud.

Ill post here thanks. Anyways theres been numerous threads about this subject since the end of the Pats game. A healthy Clemons isnt something to.be excited about. At least with Jones we havent seen everything he has.

When you use 5th rounders on the QB of the defense this is the result. It was a position that needed to be addressed but Ireland opted again to hope a diamond in the rough could do the job.

Well to be fair Jones was a 2nd round prospect.

Excited? No. Upgrade? Yes. The guy at least knows enough to be where he should be most of the time. He's not the "answer" but he's not guaranteed of ****ing up like Jones is. I've seen enough of Jones to know the guy has a 10 cent head.

I wanted Earl Thomas in the worst kind of way but to be honest I haven't kept up with his career to this point but that's who I would've taken with our 1st pick 2 years ago instead of trading back for what looks to be a rotational DE and a scrub OLB. 2 role players instead of 1 impact player would sound about right for this regime thus far.

If the defense does not show up in Cleveland then they should all be made to hitch hike back to Florida. This is a good game for Soliai to prove not only to the Dolphins but other prospective teams that he is a player. If not, Hillis is going to leave cleat marks on Soliais face, arms, legs, big belly and hands. Did I miss any body parts ?

Balls? It's understandable you would forget that, the Dolphins defense hasn't shown to have any this season. We definitely aren't a physical defense. Davis hits solid for a CB but our LB'ers don't exactly lay the wood.

Did not forget balls. You cannot get kicked in the balls if you do not have any to start with.

Yes, the secondary was so much worse last year with Clemons in.:idk:

Sparano said in his press conference that Jones is the starter, even if Clemons comes back. End of thread.
